I didn’t want to give any homeless person on the side of the road any money for fear that they would spend it on the “unnecessaries”. Then a friend of mine said to me ” it is not your responsibility or burden to carry if they spend the money unwisely. What matters is your intentions and your prayers for that person”. I have given money out of my window several times since then as well as donate to the homeless shelter. It’s along the lines of let go and let God. How do we know that one act of kindness wouldn’t change a persons life forever?
