I understand. You are doing a great job, and I can totally see feeling overwhelmed by so many challenges. Don't forget to ask for help if you need it. Maybe some of those tasks can be delegated, maybe a friend or family member could start the ball rolling on a few?

My mom has a saying on her refrigerator that says: Never get too tired, too lonely, too hungry or too overwhelmed. and right beside that: God never gives us more than we can handle.

I've never been absolutely certain that her fridge isn't contradicting itself. ;)

Kathleen,

I was touched by your blog post. I just want to let you know that there is hope. I taught in Catholic schools for for years, two of which I had children with Downs Syndrome and other special needs integrated into my theology classes. I don't know how much I can be for you, but I would like to let you know that you are now alone. I may have some people that I can put you in touch with to help you out with step one and two. Email me at jared.dees@gmail.com
