You make some really good points. You are absolutely right that women tend to talk to each other more than their husbands at times. And communication/the spousal relationship DOES suffer when you have small children, there’s no question. Thanks for the reminder that there’s another side to the story. I tend to take it personally when my husband neglects to do something around the house. It feels like by leaving those dirty dishes he’s saying, “I don’t care. She’ll clean it up.” When in reality, it’s not a pre-meditated personal affront to me.
