Sunday Snippets and the Week In Links

I just figured I would combine them this weekend, instead of writing two separate posts.

My contribution to Sunday Snippets: A Catholic Carnival this weeks is “Hello! Am I Invisible?” If, the next time you see someone in need of assistance, you remember this post and stop, I will consider myself as having done a good deed.

Other links of interest this week:

If you love good food, you might find this interesting: snippets about chefs. And if you’ve ever known a church music director, you might already know this, but it’s one of the worst paid and most stressful jobs out there, according to CNN! This I can attest to from experience–as much as I loved my work as liturgy/music director, I also must admit that three years of infertility ended exactly as I was quitting. Hmmm.

And finally…

On our local radio station, the morning host, David Lile, gives a short daily reflection. Sometimes they’re political, sometimes funny, but they’re always worth listening to. Since theyr’e not available–yet, anyway–online as audio files, I asked him if I could have the text of this one to share. I hope you enjoy “Let’s run!”
