Just found your blog today through a friend. My youngest daughter will be turning 3, two days from now and we are preparing to send her off to her first day of preschool later this month. The words “Julianna’s third birthday” sparked my interest, so I had to check it out. Thanks for sharing tidbits of your world with those of us who are following down a similar path. And I neglected to say that because of all the craziness, I did NOT manage to finish my Advent book this week. My writing goal for the week was to have it sent to the editor by Friday, but c’est la vie. As my husband’s grandmother would have said, “What’cha gonna do?”

What is ECI? Early Childhood…? This bus is a dedicated bus just for the Early Childhood special ed center. We knew she’d be fine on the bus once she got used to it; we were just concerned that the first day might be scary, before she understood where this thing was taking her.

Thanks for this post! We are struggling to decide whether to send our boy on the bus when he turns three and doesn’t qualify for ECI. One of my fears is putting him on a bus when he can’t even tell anyone his name, or if he needs/wants something. Seeing your pictrues was very encouraging!
