Thanks for this post! I’m trying to get off the ground as a writer, and already I can relate to much of what you’re saying! Such as about paralysis… I have the tendency to spend too much time gathering information and mulling things over in my mind rather than actually committing words to paper (or the computer screen). I’ll have to keep checking your blog for more discussion of these issues!

Congrats on sending out your queries! I have never wanted to write/publish books, but my husband has completed two novels and seems to find querying more difficult than writing.

Also, “a tangled http://www.eb of tangents” = brilliant.
