It’s the first day of first grade for Alex, and only five short days until Julianna returns to Early Childhood Special Ed for her last year of preschool. These pictures are over a month old, but they represent so well what we tried to accomplish this summer…I just want to share, here on the brink of a new school year.

It might not have been a productive writing summer–it might have been downright frustrating at times–but it sure was a beauty, wasn’t it?

I linked this up to 5 Minutes for Special Needs, and as I look at these pictures I wonder if I’ve lost all perspective, or if Julianna’s extra chromosome even shows up in them?
It does look beautiful, with lots of smiles!
i love that you’re playing on the swings with your kids.
Are you kidding? That’s one of the best perks of motherhood–getting to play on cool playgrounds! Pregnant, no less. 🙂 Although you couldn’t tell yet mid-July. 😉
Looks like y’all had a fun summer!
It looks like you’ve had a great summer!
I agree, playing on the swings is a definite plus of having a child. LOL!
Great pics!
I agree, from these pictures, it’s hard to tell that J has the extra chromosome. I can tell you all had fun though, 🙂
