Precious Moments, Round 2

The weather is beautiful, the earth is stirring, the minnows are swimming laps up and down the creek. All the trees are in various stages of budding out, and this evening Alex and I went down to the woods to throw the first rocks of the spring in the water. We added one stick and three rocks to our collection in the rotting log, and dug the first weeds out from around the tulips and the daffodils and the irises.

And when I came back in the house, it was to find this, which just had to be shared:

I can get in, but I can't get out!
I can get in, but I can't get out!

And as long as I’m sharing, here’s one of Alex:

Even in sleep, he's thinking deep throughts...
I am grateful for a good day with my children…for a morning at the park with glorious weather…for progress and fun in therapy…for a walk in the woods…for flowers…for beautiful weather…for a deliciously comfy couch…for the impending end of pregnancy…for the spicy, earthy fresh aroma of the woods…and did I mention the beautiful weather?
