He thinks he’s soooooo funny.
There’s a basketball hoop at one side of the driveway, and it’s in the perfect place for the preschooler’s car door to smack into when he gets out. And Christian hates marks on the car.
So on days when I’m coming and going, coming and going, I’ve gotten into the habit of parking in the middle of the driveway until I know I’m going to need the van, which lives in the garage.
Christian has been giving me no end of trouble about this for weeks. He’s completely unimpressed by the fact that I only do it on days and times when he’s not supposed to be coming home in the middle of the day.
On a rare day off, he’s in quite the mood when we come home from lunch at Burger King Play Place. “I’m gonna be Kate and park in the middle of the driveway,” he says. “You know what? I’m gonna do it one better and park SIDEWAYS.”
Do you see what I have to put up with? 😉
Happy Memorial Day!
Sounds like my husband.
