My name is Kathleen Basi, and I founded Intentional Catholic to try to close the gap between what we say we believe and the actions we take in a world where living Christian values is more a catch phrase than a lived reality.
Through my Substack newsletter, books, speaking events, liturgical music, parish missions, and retreats, I hope to inspire others to reflect on their lives and the larger world, to engage in honest conversation, and to be the image and likeness of God in a world that desperately needs light and salt and hope.
May we become ever more who we were created to be, so that, as St. Catherine of Siena famously said, we may “set the world on fire.”
